CoolMathGames.com- games on this site focus on developing strategy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, not just arithmetic. The platform hosts only free, non-violent educational games (ad-free option available).

ReadingEggs.com - This literacy program is designed to improve reading skills in children aged 2 to 13.  The online library has over 4,000 e-books, downloadable activity sheets, lesson plans, and worksheets that correspond with the online lessons. There is a fee involved.

Ask Dr. Universe - Created and run by Washington State University, Dr. Universe hosts a podcast and videos where she answers scientific questions submitted by kids. 

Fun Brain - large assortment of books for grades 2nd- 8th, all free to read  online, plus a large amount of free interactive games to help kids learn math, science, and English.

Science Journal for Kids - published science articles that have been adapted for children’s education. Genres range from dinosaurs and climate to technology and physics.

NASA Kids Science -Educational content for children focused on space, Earth science, and environment. Kids can learn about NASA through games, videos, articles and get tips on stargazing.
